Description:

Andromedans are often described as a benevolent extraterrestrial race, hailing from either the Andromeda Galaxy (2.5 million light years from earth) or from somewhere within the Andromeda Constellation. They are typically described as humanoid, with cool toned skin with purple or blue hues, large dark almond shaped eyes, and completely hairless. Their height varies between reports, but they are often described as tall and slender.

 

They are often referenced in reports pertaining to the Galactic Federation, or similar theories claiming there is an alliance between advanced civilizations throughout the universe. The Andromedans are said to be extremely intelligent, spiritually awakened, technologically advanced, and altruistic. In witness reports they usually are described as taking some kind of leadership role, guiding other civilizations to follow in their footsteps.

 

Andromedans are also commonly referenced by the believers of the star-seed theory, a belief that there are alien offspring, or reincarnations living among us in human civilization. Most often, self-proclaimed Starseeds will have a direct link or relation with a specific extra-terrestrial species.

 

Prominent Encounters:

Alex Collier (1964)

Alex Collier had his first contact experience with the Andromedans when he was a child. While in Woodstock, Michigan with his family on a picnic, Alex was playing in the grass with his cousins. However after laying down, he then opened his eyes to see the night sky, and realized he had lost a significant amount of time. Then, once Collier was 14, he awoke one night on a platform with 2 men standing over him. Collier describes them as blue skinned humanoids, named Morenae and Vissaeus. The two men taught him about their civilization, revealing themselves as Andromedans; Collier claims that there are many other human races throughout the galaxy, that Andromedans are one of them, and that we all inhabited the Lyra constellation prior to a devastating war with the Draconians (or Reptilians). Alex Collier claims to have been in contact with these Andromedans throughout his life, and acts as a messenger for them. While he was told extensive information about other supposed alien races such as the Zeta Reticulans, and Draconians, his communication was mainly with the Andromedans and learning about their society and civilization.

 

Sheldan Nidle/Ground Crew Project (1980s)

A prominent group with reports of Andromedan contact experiences is the Ground Crew Project, A UFO-based religion that was founded by Sheldan Nidle in the 1980s. Sheldan's first experiences with extraterrestrials are reportedly with Sirians, not andromedans, but on the Ground Crew Project official website pages dedicated to the Andromedan race can be found. He claimed to have been in direct communication with extraterrestrials since a young age, with the help of what he referred to as 'Direct Core Knowledge Inserts'. He claims to represent the Galactic Federation directly, and act as their messenger; which the Andromedans play a major role in by his account.
